| Armidale Playhouse Prompt - February 2004
AUDITIONS: I Do! I Do!
This is an all singing two hander that charts the course of a marriage. The two actors age on stage (as well as get very tired). We're looking at putting this on in late April and anyone interested in being involved on stage, offstage, musically etc should contact Gordon on 6772 8449.
Auditions will be on 24 and 25 February at the playhouse at 7:30pm.
Poetry and Passion at the Playhouse
Local poets group Poetzinc have provided the raw material for our first show this year. Kristin Adair and Benjamin Thorn are working on a short one week season of staged poetry (and prose) readings, performances and music that promises to be a fascinating and fun night in the theatre.
We have about 30 short pieces by local writers (from 11 words to about 6 minutes in length) which range from the funny and whimsical through to dark and alarming.
Performances will be from 18–20 March, at 8pm with a matinee on Saturday 20 March at 2pm.
We're still looking for people interested in working backstage, so if you're interested contact Kristin on 6771 4077 or Benjamin on 6772 5889.
The Big Armidale Playhouse Barbecue, Fire Safety Training and Working Bee
